Sometimes it’s easy to forget about the small things and get wrapped up in the world around us. With everything being thrown at us at rocket speed and the constant pressure, it can be difficult to appreciate the small things that can lead to big things. At our offices we have begun a daily huddle consisting of asking each other “what are you grateful for?” The answers vary day to day and yet one thing remains the same- support. As a team we couldn’t do half of what we offer and we couldn’t learn without each other, so it only makes sense to support each other and lift them up. While some answers may be different, we love having the time each morning where we can have some laughs, serious conversations, get ready for the day, and catch up. Being a team is more than appearing professionally and kind, being a team also includes mutual respect, support, understanding, friendship and maybe a bit of comedy too. When asking yourself what are you grateful for – follow your heart, not logic. Gratitude is everything, and we hope that we can inspire and show that to all our families who get their services with us.
Our answers are varied as followed:
- “I am grateful for my family!”
- “every blessing I get to experience”
- “My mom, and that I get to wake up today!”
- “support myself financially and emotionally”
- “Getting to watch my daughter grow”
- “My parents”
- “Being an independent woman with an amazing supportive team”
- “I am thankful for the unconditional love and support I have from my family and friends, and i’m also thankful for my dog”
- “I’m grateful for my health, my kids, and my puppy!”
- “Coffee, energy drinks, and a warm bed”
