Meet Our Team
At Thornton Kids Dentistry we are a close-knit team dedicated to providing the best quality dental care out there. We love what we do and we think it shines through. From our previous horrible experiences with dentists and doctors when young, we were inspired to create a kid-centered and welcoming office for all.
Dr. Derren Tippets
- Dr. Tippets has his DMD, Masters, and Bachelor’s in Pediatric Dentistry, and has been practicing full time for 12 years
- Colorado local who enjoys nature and his dogs. Proud owner of a Great Dane Stella and a Charles Cavalier named Clementine.
- Dr. Tippets loves kids and loves his work, and can often be seen around town and enjoying nature in Longmont, Denver, Boulder, and other great Colorado towns.
- Dr. Tippets loves kids and has a few of his own. His passion for Pediatric Dentistry started decades ago and he is proud to offer his expertise and services to everyone in our office.
Our Dental Team
- We are a mix of ages, backgrounds, ethnicities personalities, and most of us are Colorado natives.
- We are either all licensed or actively in training to be licensed.
- We are all fluent in both English and Spanish, and offer all paperwork in both languages as well.
- You will see us with a smile on our face and enjoying our team. During working hours we often have our lunches as a big group.
- Outside of work we enjoy being a large team and meeting up for after hour get-togethers, arcades, TopGolf, the gym, and our favorite restaurants.
